The User who makes use of or relies on any information in the CDB shall take full responsibility for the application and performance of the building material, component or construction system. It is not exhaustive on any matter in question. It is intended to help sharing of information amongst the Administrators and to enhance public access to information. The CDB aims to provide a web-based point of reference to authorized persons, registered structural engineers and other parties concerned in the building industry (the User). A Central Data Bank (CDB) which contains lists of building materials, components and construction systems that have been accepted by individual government departments / organizations (the Administrator) has been set up.
